Okay this has to be one of the funniest things that has happened all week! Today we went to Tanglewood for Lillie's Friends Family Festival. One of the events at it was a big Easter Egg Hunt for kids. Isabel went prepared with her basket/bucket and was ready to grab some. She got like 4 I think. It was tough because the place was COVERED with parents and kids! It took no time for all the eggs to get snatched up. Anyway, so afterward Isabel wanted to open the eggs to see what was inside. She found a cinnamon candy (which I ate because she thinks it's too hot), a little dinosaur stamper, a pencil topper, and.....are you ready for this????

Yep, that's right!
It's Jordan Knight!
In case you didn't also have a button like this or any of the other larger buttons of the whole band or tshirts or slap bracelets with their faces or go see them in concert in 5th grade, then you might not know that this was a member of New Kids on the Block. As you can tell, I've already fastened it to my purse. Isabel said, "Mommy, why did they put that in my Easter egg??" hahah, clearly it was to make somebody's mom laugh really hard!
Hangin' Tough,
That is so flippin' awesome! I met you when we were 13 in middle school, but after seeing you put that on your purse today, I feel like I got a glimplse of you from elementry school as well!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! I remember by Meredith oogling over him/them! We actually had a close encounter with him once about... a decade ago. We were in the CLT airport, and there he and an entourage came walking down the concourse. I would have looked and thought "who is that?" or not noticed at all, but Mere was with us and she starts yanking my sleeve and whispering kinda loud, "Mom, MOM! Do you know who that is? It's Jordan... JORDAN KNIGHT!" I guess somebody still thank he somebody... I din know it was you, Angeler! ;) You carry that torch, Girl, ROTFL! Tha's so funny! I hope Isa had fun anyways!
ReplyDeleteThat is HILARIOUS! I knew who it was as soon as I saw the picture. Someone has a great sense of humor putting that in the eggs. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Amy
oh oh oh oh. hangin tough. clearly, you are the winner of the whole day!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that personn is my HERO! hahaha Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteBless her little heart, finding an odd picture with a pin on the back (because kids today don't know what those buttons are, right?) of some random guy with huge hair. HAHAHA! I love that it was in her egg. In 2010. Whoever put that in there had the Right Stuff. (Okay, that was lame. I couldn't help myself.)
